Also after consultation with the tutor .. there was some minor changes done ..
1) Create a link between the table top info portal and the 4 visual diagram
2) Bleeding the footer bar

Assignment 2: Less is more Ver 2.1

After consultation with Mr. Alfred .. There was some minor changes to the work .. namely
1) The color for the last and prototype to a total black and white pictogram
2) A further reduce/abstract of pictogram detail
3) Additional work done on the claws of the robotics

Assignment 4: iN2015 Ver2.0

This is the version 2.0 of assignment 4 .. from the feedback
1) Delete the shadow
2) Add more feature to the person
3) Instead of a standing info portal, use a table-top info portal
4) Does the portal really need to show detail or information?
5) Too much white space, perhaps enlarge the graphics
6) Include the "Communication and New Media"

So after having all the feedback, I know that this assignment need a major work need to be done.
1st - To create a person to interact with the portal
2nd - To create a table-top portal
3rd - To create 4 individial screen for interaction
4th - To create a copy for the poster
5th - To include the NUS Logo and "CNM"

Assignment 2: Less is more Ver 2.0

So we come to the final moments of NM2208 .. and TIME is coming up .. at least until Thur, 20 July, 2pm ..

Anyway as the title say it all .. This is a totally new version of the assignment 2 .. The challenge given by the tutor was that my design/concept is similar or not fresh .. so he gave the idea of Mixed-Reality Lab which you can create a icon telling that the lab is located at where or direct the people .. so i started 'hunting" for the lab or any equipment that can give me an idea of what i can do .. however .. i sadly couldnt find the lab .. walking around the Engineering Block for about 1.5 hours .. OMG !!! I'm so totally lost la .. haha .. and yahz back to the drawing board ..

Next day, I remembered seeing something like the robotic research lab or something .. so hiz .. why not do a icon on robotic arm or equipment .. so yahz this is the result .. From a realitic photo of an equipment to the simplest form ..

Assignment 6: How things work

This is the sixth assignment, How things work. I really have no idea of what to do with this assignment or rather how to start doing it .. I got a few ideas but don't really see how I can do it .. first is the star trek 2009 .. i wanted to draw a diagram of the spaceship and label the parts and a short description of what the component does but the problem come about tracing the spaceship and totally trace it means not original .. so ya .. den I think and think and think until my younger brother come to me and ask me about this science homework about recycling .. and that was it .. so i draw a diagram illustrating the process of recycling water.

First Development: To list down the process step by step and arrange it.
Second Development: To create or draw out each process structure/building according to the step by step process
Third Development: To create the environment and placement of each process structure/building
Fourth Development: The placement & numbering of process text and linkage with each structure/building with the corresponding step.

Assignment 5: Your notion of colorful Asia

Assignment 5 is about my notion of colorful Asia, so I was thinking what is Asia all about .. and it was the diversity of its people, its culture, its MARTIAL ARTS .. haha .. yahz .. I think our Asia has way more Martial Arts than our counterpart the europe or the america .. we have the malay form of Silat, the chinese form of Wushu, the japanese form of teakwodon, the thai form of Muay Thai Boxing and etc ..

This is the one I will choose and the color combination

Assignment 4: iN2015

Assignment 4 was kind of big because of the theme iN2015, as this is a MasterPlan in InfoComm. Even through it give us space to develop, it doesnt include a safety guide which we can follow .. anyway .. My poster idea was that you got all this info panel which you can access anywhere .. and this panel can give you all the info comm whichever you need from accessing your mail to calling someone or simply watching the news update.

PS: This is not the final work, need LOTS LOTS of re-doing.

Class Exercise C: Talking Forms

Class exercise C was to use basic elements (dot, line, shape…) to create 2 abstract / semi abstract images conveying meaning of these words (1 image per word). And I select this two hopefully you see the meaning.

and this image converying Maneuver because you got this dot, the start point and the path which you move or maneuver yourself.

Assignment 3 was such a rush .. talking about super express .. anyway I cant really think of any original idea .. that was this wii game guaitar hero .. i was thinking about it but felt it too similar to the example Ms. Jing gave us .. so I was thinking another story will a comedy in it and here it is ..

Assignment 1: Me, Myself and I

Yahz finally I found a scanner I can use so this is the upload of some of the work i done




This is the 1st sketch i come out with. This is a chemisty set .. back in secondary school i kind of like it and with TV series such as CSI: Crime Sence Investigation, you got all this people that use all this science stuff to solve the crime, so I somehow create this chemisty set that form my name.



This is the 2nd sketch, a snake and ladder board game. From kid that isn't much game we can play of such as all this computer games, video games, we only got like board game or catching at the playground. So I come up with this idea of using a board game and implant my name into it.



This is the 3rd sketch, a Roulette table. With the casino coming up and with the hobby of playing mahjong, I thought this is kind of cool to design a gambling game with my name in it. My favorite game is the mahjong however i cant come up with anything with it so i move it to other game and roulette come to mind.



This is the 4th sketch, a jukebox with music wave playing. I love to listen to music from classical to Rock to Pop. So I come up with this sketch, at first i having problem drawing the wave lines to form my name as it somehow seem too complex.



This is a sketch that was suggestted during the tutorial session so I hope it good enough.

Class Exercise A

Yesterday I attended my very first NM2208 class, what can I say about the class is that is quite awesome it got cool instuctor like Ms. Jing and Mr. Alferd. We started off with a very simple yet somehow mental block exercise, and that exercise was draw a machine that enhances your creativity 100 times. The question on my mind was it is a real machine or something that we can create on our mind. Then that was a problem to another question is that i need to upload images of my work, who has a SCANNER I can use HELP?!?!?!?! That will be all until next entry. Cya and cheers.

This is the very first drawing i did for the module, at first it was kind of hard to just start drawing. I believe a lot of us had mental block, I really cant think of anything to draw plus the fact that i believe that i dont really draw that well .. anyway back to the drawing .. what i have in mind is the iphone game that really bring the creativity from me .. you got all this games which is available from your plam size phone ..
